Michael Freeman of Kensei Kai Dojo based in Tiptree Essex, has been fighting regularly over the last year at interclub's up and down the country, proving to be a strong hearted technical fighter. He was then selected for the prestigious Mauy Thai/kickboxing tournament 'Ringmasters'. His fighting ability was noticed again accepting his first full contact fight at a major show, the festive fight night in front of two thousand fight fans, With many of his supporters making the journey to cheer him on. The fight scheduled for three, three minute rounds went all the way with neither fighter backing down. The fight was given as a draw.

Helen Goodwin kickboxing, Thai-boxing coach at Kensei Kai said "Michael is stepping up his game achieving and proving to be a worthy stand up fighter. It takes years of dedication and Michael is right on track working hard with our coaching staff, we are all very proud of him at Kensei Kai".


Quincy Nash from Kensei Kai Dojo based in Tiptree Essex, is the new ICO middle weight Thai Boxing Southern Area belt holder of Great Britain. The full contact contest was held in Canterbury in front of two thousand fight fans. The fight was scheduled for five three minute rounds but Quincy had other ideas and stopped his opponent in one and a half minutes of round one with a devastating knee and kick combination.

Steve Crowther – Head Coach of Kensei Kai Dojo said "this is the reward for all of Quincy's' strenuous physical, mental training and devotion to the sport. Quincy is in the position to be selected for the England team which will compete at the World Cup July 2011 in Germany. We are very proud of him at Kensei Kai"
